Your dashboard explained

The dashboard is your search at a glance: how much you have scanned, how well you are matching, and what you looked at most recently. It comes in 3 parts, a row of stat tiles, an activity grid, and your latest scans.

Every number on it is all-time. Nothing here is a rolling 30 days or a this-month figure, so the tiles only ever climb as you use the product, and a quiet fortnight will not pull them down.

The 4 stat tiles

Jobs Scanned is every scan you have run and not deleted, so deleting a scan takes it back out of this number.

Jobs Applied counts the jobs sitting in your APPLIED list, across all of your trackers.

Jobs Interviewing counts the jobs sitting in your INTERVIEW list, again across all of your trackers.

Average Score is the average match score of every scan counted in Jobs Scanned, rounded to a whole number and shown as a percentage.

Two of those tiles read from your trackers and two read from your scans, which explains a result people ask about. A scan that never made it onto a tracker still counts toward Jobs Scanned and still pulls on Average Score, but it cannot count toward Jobs Applied or Jobs Interviewing, because those two tiles are counting list membership and it is not in a list. What Recent Activity is plotting

The grid under Recent Activity is one square per day for the last 48 weeks, which is 336 days ending today. Each week is a vertical strip, with the days labeled Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su down the left.

It plots scans and nothing else. Applications, list moves, resume edits, notes, and dates do not register here, so read it as scans per day rather than as a record of everything you did.

Hover any square for its count, either {n} scans on {date} or No scans on {date} for an empty day. The shade darkens with volume, from 1 scan up to 12 or more in a single day, and the More and Less legend under the grid is the key to those shades.

Anything older than the 336 day window drops off the left of the grid. Those scans are still yours, they sit outside the stretch of time the grid draws.

Recent Scans

The last section lists your 10 most recent scans, newest first. Each row shows the company logo, the job title, the company, the match score, and how long ago you ran it.

The score badge uses the same colors as the cards on your trackers, so a number means the same thing in both places: green at 80 and above, blue at 70, yellow at 60, orange at 50, and red below 50.

A blue Smart badge marks a Smart scan, meaning that scan is tied to a resume you built here rather than to text you pasted in. That is what gives it a resume score, per-bullet feedback, and a tailored download.

Clicking a row opens that scan, and where it opens depends on the type. Smart scans open on the tailored resume, Classic scans open on the match report.

A brand new dashboard

Before your first scan the tiles read 0, 0, 0 and 0%, the activity grid is a full sheet of empty squares, and Recent Scans carries the only real empty state on the page: No scans created, Get started by creating a new scan., and a Create Scan button.

That button is the whole call to action, and it is worth knowing what is already waiting behind it. Signup has made you a tracker with 6 lists, so your first scan will land on it automatically and the dashboard will have something to count.

The dashboard opens on any screen size, and below tablet width it shows a red notice: For best results please visit SkillSyncer.com on your desktop computer or tablet sized screens. The activity grid is the reason, since 48 weeks of squares needs the width to be legible.
