Moving a job between lists

Drag the card from one list and drop it on another. That is the whole answer, plus what to do when the job you want to move is not where you expected it.

Moving a job takes about a second: drag its card out of one list and drop it on another.

The move saves itself the moment you let go, and the counts in the list headers update with it, so a phone screen you just booked is one drag away from being recorded.

Dropping it in a specific position

Where you drop the card is where it stays. Drop it between two cards to place it between them, or at the top of a list to put it first. You can drag a card up and down inside the list it already sits in as well, which is how you keep your own shortlist in priority order rather than in the order you scanned things.

Dragging is how a job changes list

The tracker screen is where moves happen, and the job's details view keeps to the two actions it is there for, View Match Report and Delete.

Because moving is a drag, the Job Tracker asks for a desktop or tablet sized screen. On a phone the tracker sidebar stays out of the way, so open the same account on a larger screen when you want to reorganize.

Moving whole lists

Lists reorder the same way, using their own handle at the top of the list, whose tooltip reads Click & Drag List. Grabbing that handle moves the list and everything in it, while grabbing a card moves only that one card.

If you cannot find a job to drag

Dragging works on any job that is on a tracker, and that is every scan you create through the normal flow, because the tracker and list dropdowns come pre-filled and file the job for you.

So a job that seems to be missing is usually sitting in a different tracker or a different list than the one you are looking at. See Why isn't my job showing up in my tracker?.

Emptying a list so you can delete it

This is worth knowing if you are tidying up. A list can only be deleted once it is empty, and the trash button on its header appears when it holds no jobs, so dragging the last job out of a list is what puts that button in reach.
