Select and update several jobs at once

Move or delete many scans in one action, including every scan a filter matches.

On the Job Scans page you can act on many jobs at once instead of opening them one at a time.

Selecting jobs

Each row has a checkbox on the left. Tick the ones you want, or use the checkbox in the header row to tick everything on the current page.

When you tick a whole page and there are more results than fit on it, a link appears offering to select every job that matches your current filters, not just the ones you can see. If you have filtered to 86 jobs and only 15 are on screen, that link selects all 86.

Moving jobs to a tracker

With jobs selected, choose Move to tracker and pick the list you want them in. The menu shows every list you have, grouped by tracker, because list names often repeat across boards.

If the list you pick has a status set on it, the jobs take that status as they arrive. If it does not, they keep the status they already had. See Give a list a default status for how that works.

Deleting jobs

Choose Delete Selected. You will be asked to confirm, because this cannot be undone.

Deleting a scan also deletes any job tailored resume linked to it. The confirmation says so. If you want to keep that resume, open it and make a copy before you delete the scan.

Things worth knowing

  • A selection only ever covers what your filters currently match. Changing a filter clears the selection so you never act on a set you are no longer looking at.
  • Selecting across pages works with search, status and the "not in a tracker" filter, alone or combined.
  • Bulk actions are not available when you are viewing a team member's scans.
