1. Add your resume

Upload the resume you already have. We accept .pdf, .doc, .docx, and .txt, up to 10 MB, and we read the file into editable sections for you, so nothing here is typed from scratch.

If you cannot export a file from wherever your resume lives, paste the text in instead.

2. Paste the job posting

The job description is the only part we cannot do without. Paste the responsibilities and qualifications sections and leave out the company blurb and the benefits, because every word in them becomes something your resume is measured against.

Add the exact Job title from the posting while you are there. It is worth 10 of the 100 points on its own and it scores all or nothing, so it is the cheapest 10 points on the report and the easiest to leave on the table.

3. Run it

What you are looking at

  • Your match score out of 100. Aim for 80 or above before you apply.
  • The keywords this posting asks for, marked found or missing, with how many times the employer mentioned each one.
  • Resume checks, covering things like word count, contact details, and whether your bullets contain numbers.
