What a coach can and cannot see in a member's account

Coaches can see a member's job match scans, and that is the whole list. Nothing else on a team is shared, pooled, or visible between accounts.

A coach can see a member's job match scans, and that is the entire list of what team membership makes visible.

It is worth stating up front, because a product with teams, roles, and seats reads like a shared workspace and this one is not. Everything in SkillSyncer belongs to a single account, and joining a team does not move any of it.

What a coach can see

A member's job match scans. Go to Settings, then Team Members, open the row menu next to the person, and choose View Scans. You get their scan list with the match score and the full report on each one, which is everything the member sees on their own scans.

The member roster. Name, email, role, and the date each person joined.

Those two views are the whole picture.

What a coach cannot see

  • Resumes. A member's base resumes and everything in them stay private to that member, and resumes are opened from their own account rather than the members page.
  • The resume builder. Their edits, layouts, and templates belong to them.
  • The job tracker. Trackers, lists, and saved jobs stay with the person who created them.
  • Excluded keywords. Each person's exclusion list is their own.
  • Account settings. Name, password, email, and everything else in Settings.

Coaches cannot see each other's scans either, and no coach sees the owner's.

What a member can see

A member sees their own account and nothing of yours. Members hold no team permissions, so there is no roster, no view of another member's scans, and no window into your billing beyond the single line telling them their team covers the premium tier.

Nothing is pooled

Scan allowances, AI credits, resumes, and templates are all held per account, which means a team of 10 is 10 separate accounts that happen to be paid for together.

There is no shared resume library, no team template, and no shared job tracker, so a document you wrote for a client reaches them the way any other file would, by sending it.

The practical way to coach on this

Two working paths cover most of the coaching relationship:

  1. Read their scans. You see everything the scan report shows, including the missing keywords and the section breakdown, so you can review a client's position without a call.
  2. Run scans for them. The scan lands in their account, which lets you set up the analysis and leave them to work from it. See Scanning on behalf of a member.

The member drives the resume itself, so talk them through the fixes or have them export a PDF and send it over.

If your team needs a shared workspace

SkillSyncer keeps every account separate by design, and no plan tier changes that. A larger plan buys more seats rather than more sharing. See Coach plans compared.
